In 1982 the release of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾ took the young teen literary world by storm, the book followed the hilarious life of Adrian as he navigated the life of teenager who believed himself to be an intellectual. 

Donough O'Malley's bright and sunny illustration was inspired by the audio book which he listened to during lockdown and on sleepless nights.
