A graduate in art direction from The Higher School of Advertising and Marketing in São Paulo, and an experienced graphic designer, Mel is well versed in the creative process and works flexibly with clients to bring their vision to life. Though Mel’s artwork is big and bold, she’s a diligent and detail-oriented artist who gets to grips with the bigger thinking behind each brief. Inspiration can come from anywhere – from making things with her kids to Brazilian culture to urban art and even idle doodling. Certain iconic elements often repeat in her work like rainbows, flowers, smileys, fire, the sun and hearts. You gotta love it!
