Press Lane Architectural History Mural

Architectural mural highlight history of the buildings that existed before the Christchurch earthquake. Building cut throughs allow the viewer to see inside the activity happening and stories unfolding. A red carpet travels across both walls, guiding viewers through the stories, history, and activity of the laneway. Subtle references to Press Lane’s past are embedded throughout, honouring its connection to storytelling, nightlife, entertainment, nearby newspaper offices and entertainment hubs.
