This was a specialist subject and one Liam knew nothing about, but after learning which fish should be seen in the same water, and which should definitely not, Liam relaxed into creating these pleasing watercolours. He says "...the big trick to painting most fish is to ensure that they look reflective and shiny - if they look shiny they will look alive..."!
