The Founders

Pottermore - the website for all things in the Harry Potter world use Bob Venables' illustrations for a feature on Hogwarts' house founders.

Standing proud and tall are the four Hogwarts’ School house founders; slightly intimidating yet powerful and created by the versatile Bob Venables. Bob was to use a 'Book of Hours' approach, capturing a medieval look with an ornate border, his pieces can be seen animated on the Pottermore website, where you can find out a little more about the background of the founders.
