Aluminium City

Luiza Laffitte engages visitors for ABAL with an interactive, seek-and-find illustration at COP30.

Luiza was commissioned by Nação Consultoria to create a striking interactive illustration for ABAL, the Brazilian Aluminium Association, unveiled during COP30 in Belém.

Her black-and-white composition, 'Aluminium City,' invites viewers to discover 42 hidden aluminium elements that instantly pop into colour when tapped, revealing informative details about the metal’s everyday uses.

Installed on a large touch screen within a geodesic dome, the piece blends playful interactivity with environmental education, making for both an engaging game and a visually compelling showcase of sustainability in action.
