For this high-profile Kimsmas holiday livestream, LA-based SKIMS asked IllustrationX to source an illustrator who could deliver fast, collaborate seamlessly with an animation pipeline, and crucially, capture celebrity likeness with charm and accuracy. Enter Mau Cardoso, who created a delightful 60s/70s-inspired title sequence influenced by classics like Bewitched and The Nanny.

Mau illustrated Kim, Kris Jenner, cosy Christmas interiors, and SKIMS outfits with a warm, nostalgic energy tailored to the brand’s seasonal moment. The resulting opener sets the tone for the livestream with vintage flair and festive personality, aligning with SKIMS’ global audience and the playful spirit of the event.
