Magic City Mayhem

Andreu has delivered a cover illustration for Magic City Mayhem, an urban fantasy novel by Marcus X. Figuerola.

The image centres on a lone figure shadowed by a skeletal presence, establishing a charged interplay between mortality, magic and identity. 

Building the scene through crisp linework and a high-saturation palette, Andreu draws on Miami’s neon architecture and coastal palette while introducing stylised, almost folkloric motifs. The composition carries a deliberate intensity, balancing humour with unease to reflect the book’s frenetic, tongue-in-cheek tone.
